Parymon Corp Awarded NOAA Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement Contract to Deliver International Fisheries Enforcement Training
Parymon Corp is proud to announce a new contract award supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Office of Law Enforcement (OLE).
Through this contract, Parymon will provide experienced instructors to deliver specialized training and technical assistance that strengthens international fisheries enforcement capabilities and supports implementation of the Port State Measures Agreement (PSMA), a key international agreement designed to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
Working alongside NOAA Office of Law Enforcement personnel, our instructors will deliver classroom instruction, practical exercises, vessel boarding scenarios, and capacity-building activities for fisheries inspectors and law enforcement professionals from partner nations. These efforts help strengthen international cooperation, promote effective fisheries enforcement practices, and support the sustainable management of marine resources.
Training activities are expected to support partner countries across Southeast Asia, including planned engagements in Thailand and the Philippines, with additional regional locations determined in coordination with NOAA and the U.S. Department of State.
Under this contract, Parymon will provide support in several key areas:
International Fisheries Enforcement Training
Our instructors will deliver NOAA-developed curriculum covering the operational implementation of the Port State Measures Agreement (PSMA), counter-IUU fishing strategies, fisheries inspection procedures, and law enforcement best practices through classroom instruction and hands-on exercises.
Technical Assistance & Capacity Building
Parymon will help strengthen the capabilities of foreign government agencies by providing practical instruction, operational guidance, and knowledge sharing that enhances fisheries compliance, inspection programs, and enforcement effectiveness.
Collaborative Program Delivery
Working as part of NOAA's international training team, our professionals will support curriculum delivery, workshop facilitation, pre- and post-training coordination, and collaborative engagement with international partners to ensure successful program execution.
Parymon is honored to support NOAA Fisheries' Office of Law Enforcement in advancing international fisheries enforcement, strengthening partnerships with foreign governments, and helping protect marine resources through improved compliance and sustainable fisheries management.
