Parymon Corp Awarded NOAA Fisheries Office of Sustainable Fisheries Contract to Support Fisheries Management and Policy Implementation
Parymon Corp is proud to announce a new contract award supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Office of Sustainable Fisheries (OSF).
This effort supports the implementation of Executive Order 14276, Restoring American Seafood Competitiveness, an initiative focused on strengthening the U.S. seafood industry by improving regulatory efficiency, enhancing domestic seafood production and exports, and promoting a more competitive and resilient fishing sector.
Through this contract, Parymon will provide technical, scientific, economic, and project management support to assist NOAA Fisheries in developing and implementing fisheries management actions that advance the objectives of the Executive Order while promoting sustainable fisheries and informed, science-based regulatory decision-making.
The Office of Sustainable Fisheries serves a critical role in managing the nation's marine fisheries by working closely with regional fishery management councils, NOAA Fisheries regional offices, scientists, industry stakeholders, and partner agencies to ensure fisheries remain sustainable while supporting healthy marine ecosystems and coastal economies.
Under this contract, Parymon will provide support in several key areas:
Fishery Management & Scientific Analysis
Parymon will support the development of fishery management actions, environmental analyses, technical documentation, regulatory packages, and Fishery Management Plans (FMPs). Our team will conduct scientific research, technical writing, policy analysis, and regulatory coordination to help NOAA Fisheries efficiently develop and implement management actions.
Economic & Regulatory Analysis
Our specialists will provide economic analyses, regulatory impact reviews, socioeconomic assessments, and trade-related analytical support to evaluate management alternatives and inform science-based fisheries policy decisions.
Program & Project Management
Parymon will deliver project management, administrative coordination, quality assurance, workflow planning, stakeholder coordination, and performance reporting to help ensure fisheries management initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively across NOAA Fisheries programs.
