Parymon Corp Awarded NOAA Fisheries NEFSC Contract to Support Science Communications and Outreach
Parymon Corp is proud to announce a new contract award with NOAA Fisheries’ Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC). Through this task order, Parymon will provide strategic communications, graphics, and multimedia support to help translate complex fisheries and ocean science into clear, engaging, and accessible outreach materials for a wide range of audiences.
The NEFSC plays a critical role in monitoring and understanding the status, distribution, and productivity of fisheries and marine ecosystems across the Northwest Atlantic, from North Carolina to Maine. Its science informs management decisions that support sustainable fisheries, resilient coastal communities, and responsible ocean stewardship. Clear and effective communication is essential to ensuring that this science reaches policymakers, stakeholders, and the public in meaningful ways.
Under this contract, Parymon will support NEFSC by developing high-quality visual and multimedia products that enhance science communication and public understanding. Key areas of support include:
Strategic Communications and Outreach Materials
Parymon will design and produce graphics, infographics, illustrations, and branded outreach materials in both print and digital formats. These products will support reports, fact sheets, posters, presentations, and online content that explain fisheries and ocean science in an accessible and engaging manner.
Multimedia and Video Production
The team will create videos and other multimedia products that visually illustrate scientific concepts, research activities, and NEFSC’s mission. This work may include on-location filming and interviews, conducted in accordance with NOAA Fisheries’ video production standards.
Data Visualization and Mapping
Parymon will develop location-based visualizations of scientific data, including maps of stock distributions, research areas, tagging data, and passive acoustic monitoring results, using GIS and related tools for use across NEFSC outreach platforms.
Project Management and Collaboration
Parymon will provide dedicated project management support, working closely with NOAA leadership to scope requirements, develop timelines, and deliver mockups and prototypes that align with agency goals, branding standards, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
